Before you put a lot of effort into something that may not be a big problem, you might want to consider your oil level. If, as I did, you put in the prescribed amount of oil at your last change (prescribed by the owner's manual at 2.5 qts.), you're probably just blowing out the excess. Once the level gets to the proper amount (2 qts), the oil "leak" will stop. It's worth a shot.
